Training and Development

Our graduate engineers arrive at different levels in their career and our intention is to help them advance their own professional development to chartered status.

All employees at whatever level in Contour will have the opportunity to take part in training schemes focusing on a number of key skills including leadership, mechanical, electrical and trim. We also ensure that other areas of training are not forgotten and we will provide IT and communications skills training as well as project management courses.

We run programmes for shop floor engineering personnel, focusing on our core philosophy of lean manufacturing, with an emphasis on six sigma disciplines. We encourage all our employees and apprentices to take up other professional development routes within Contour.

Our skilled people are a critical asset to Contour. We intend to help them maintain and build those skills.
