Premium aircraft interiors manufacturer, Contour Aerospace Limited has completed a multi-million pound refit of the stowage compartments and facilities in a fleet of aircraft for one of the world’s leading airlines.
Etihad Airways appointed Contour’s Camberley site to re-fit the stowage cabinets in 20 aircraft of its AIRBUS fleet. In all 115 items including closets, stowage cabinets and dividers, were provided for the airline.
The three-year process, which involved design, manufacture, delivery and fit, has now been completed by Contour, who have worked with Etihad Airways since 2006.
Contour Aerospace has provided premium and first class cabin interiors for airlines around the world for the last 75 years.
The retrofit programme with Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is among a number of retrofit contracts won by Contour Aerospace in the last few years.
Contour’s Principal Programme Manager, Adrian Sumner who oversaw the project, said; “Contour continues to win contracts with the best airlines in the world to design and re-fit superior cabin interiors.
